  • Transformative Justice 101: Confronting Interpersonal and Community Violence without the Cops or the Courts

Life After Life is a community based, intergenerational collective run mutually by girls, women, queer, transgender, and feminists dedicated to de-criminalization and de-incarceration.

In this 4-hour workshop, held in conjunction with The Week Against Prisons (Aug. 7th-11th) our collective will run an interactive workshop on how to apply transformative justice principles to a series of challenging scenarios depicting everyday forms of interpersonal, institutional, and state violence. We will follow with a facilitated creative response workshop, suggesting that participants may submit final pieces for consideration to the Life After Life resource guide for currently and formerly incarcerated people. Snacks and drinks will be provided. The workshop will be held in English.
